Follow Don on Twitter-

Don follows over 300 other GIS and planning professionals on Twitter, and posts to his account daily. Twitter is a unique place on the internet, sometimes refered to as the online watercooler. It provides a very relaxed, informal atmosphere where people can discuss anything, from the latest beta release of thier favorite Open Source GIS application, to what they had for breakfast.

Don's LinkedIn public profile-

LinkedIn is a great place to post resume type information and status reports. Don usually updates his status once a week, and belongs to a number of GIS and planning related groups.

Don Meltz's Blog: Personal Observations about Planning and GIS-

Don posts to his WordPress blog about once a month. Topics range from technical aspects of planning and GIS, to more personal thoughts about current events. They will always have a geospatial element to them.

Don's MiniBlog: For things that are too big for Twitter but too small for WordPress-

Don also maintains a blog hosted by Posterous. These posts are shorter, and more personal in nature. Inspiration usually comes from discussions on other social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, GoogleGroups, and email listserves. It's a great place to aggregate thoughts from those discussions, and re-broadcast them back to the social networks.

Facebook

Don uses Facebook mostly for family and close friends, but for a few business associates, too. Feel free to send a friend request if facebook is your social network of choice.
